This is how it turned out printed on matte photo paper.
Steps for a Print copy
- In Inkscape I assembled the Bear and grouped the whole image.
- Then added a png of some background paper to move her onto.
- Added the text
- Took a screen capture of the of the background and the bear to take into a photo editing program to resize and print.

Sure hope someone makes use of this besides me! I'd love to see how you dress and color her, just send folks here to get the pieces please.
Thanks,

Hi
Thanks for the svg; it is so cute. It will probably be awhile before I use it but I will.
Just curious, do you print it and then fussy cut it? or do you cut with SCAL?
Myrna
Myrna, I size and print (including the background) on 4x6 matte or semi gloss photo paper. Then I mount the photo on another pieces of background paper, or two, and then mount that on a 5x7 blank card. So I get a layered card without any cutting except for the background papers.
Thanks for the question. I'll be more specific next time ;o )
Myrna, I now understand your question. I posted the wrong png file. If you have inkscape you can assemble the Bear and grab a png of some background paper to move her onto. Then take a screen capture of the of the background and the bear and take that into a photo editing program to resize and print.
Sorry.
Susan.. mamabear is absolutely adorable.. Thanks so much for sharing..Now I asked you at Craftedge to have some spiked ice tea ready.. have you done this??LOLOL

Just a quick note to let you know that a link to this post will be placed on CraftCrave in the Cutting category today [16 Jul 01:00am GMT]. Thanks, Maria
Hi Sue - thanks for stopping by my blog! I see you have been very busy creating away. Hope you are well! Amy
So cute, definitely a keeper. I am thinking Mother's Day next year. Like you I will do print and cut.
Did you draw the face, it looks great. I have always envied people with drawing skills.
This is a cute cut file...I will bring all together in Inkscape, and save it as a png file...using SCAL2 I will upload the png file, and do a print and cut (cut around the png pic). Than work it into a card or whatever.
G ma. I'd love to see it when you finish. Let me know when you post if you do.
Thanks
