Create Draw/Cut Flowers using Rotate Tiled Clones-Inkscape

Not one of my best videos but hopefully with practice you can create some wonderful elements to draw with your gel pens and cut out on your cutter.

I watched a lot of video's "learning how to fish" and I urge you to look at them too as they go into more detail on the how's and why's then I was able to do in the short time I had.

Additional Resources

If you are not familiar with draw/cut I have a video that explains the process of drawing with the gel pen and cutting on your (my) cutter.
You can also just print/cut by printing out the detail and using the mat supplied you can cut around it.

Every time you draw the petal something different will happen depending on the size of the petal, the rotation point, the number of petals (even number if you want the layer effect).

Play with this changing the shapes, the number of petals etc....you will be amazed at what you get.  I see a lot of tree ornaments for the holidays don't you?

Thanks for stopping by and please let me know how you do.

Wow, I love your flower. I tried to watch the video but my internet is way too slow. I will be back to watch this one for sure. I prefer print and cut projects and this looks like it would be fun to play with. Thank you.

I just love that everytime I visit I get to learn something else:) I'm so lifting your technique!
I tried to get the Camtasia studio software after the trial-they still want $300! I'm still recovering from the shock...needless to say I don't have it anymore:(
