I made two fret pieces as I wanted to glue them together to raise it up for dimension. I used a Cri-kitsl gel pen in silver to draw the fret lines.,
For the holes in the instrument I used a punch since they were to small to cut properly especially if you want an image smaller than mine. The dulcimer kit had them as hearts but I didn't have a heart punch that small.
The image is the "cut" file on a piece of sheet music. Don't know what I'm going to do with it yet but I'll think of something.
Now let's see what you do with it, please.
Feel free to use the file and to post what you create, you could give me credit if you think about it.Download the file here:

I received this comment from Linda via email and wanted to share it.
imagine how surprised (and happy) i was to find a dulcimer on your blog. my mother started playing the dulcimer two years ago at 83 and is now in a band!! can you believe that? i can't wait to make a card for her using the dulcimer. in fact, her b'day is next month so i'll definitely use the file for her card. what a wonderful coincidence!!
Thank you so much for this Freebie. I want to let you know that I posted a link to your blog in Creative Busy Hands Scrapbook Freebies Search List, under the Movie/Music Theme post on Jun. 16, 2009. Thanks again.
I just saw this file in your side bar. I am so excited. A lot of my family plays!
